Pictures

Cats :3
This is a guy that we saw at the beach. He looked like Iron Man.

Greece, Days 1 and 2

I finally arrived to Greece, and I was tired. My bag was delayed so I didn't have my stuff, but I could get it tonight. I was dying to go to the beach, so after being greeted by my uncle, aunt and cousin Alkis, we went to the beach. I got a pedicure and manicure as a birthday present (thank you Sofia!) I crashed at home. I was falling asleep while waiting at the salon. Today at 5:00am, we woke up and got on a large boat and came to Serifos, the island that my mom grew up on. We met my Yia Yia (grandmother) at the ship. I am here now, and it is beautiful! We are eating food at a café now. More pictures will come soon!

Off Officially!

We arrived at the Reagan airport around 10:30 this morning, and were surprised with the fact that my tickets from JFK to Rome and Rome to Athens weren't in the system. After a stressful and grueling 30 minutes, I received my tickets and found out that the airline we were transferring to unexpectedly unhooked (basically deleting them) from the Delta system. I am not sitting with my mom, but it is okay for now. We are going to probably sit next to each other on the next two flights. I am now on the plane waiting for us to take off, and even though there are some really annoying and loud Japanese behind me, I am hoping for a smooth flight!

My view from my seat.... beautiful, I know.

DC Sights

While walking around the large area of Washington DC, I was able to see a few sights such as this one!

Headed to Greece... Sort Of.

I haven't taken any other over seas trips in the past three years, which is a little shocking to me, looking back on it. This year, it was planned that my whole family would visit Greece once again.

We were all supposed to have the same flights, and none of us thought that anything would go wrong. But, of course, something did. This past week I was at an overnight camp with my brother and friends while my parents were sorting out the last few details. While doing this, they realized that my passport expired. Two days before we left. Our family was supposed to go straight to the JFK airport and then take a direct flight to Greece. I wouldn't be able to do this, because, of course, I needed my passport. So, my brother and dad headed off to JFK, while my mom and flew our way to DC.

There, we met my mom's cousins (who I call my aunt and uncle) and are now staying with them for able two nights. We just got my new passport, and we fly to Greece tomorrow. I did have some fun at a classic crab dinner pool party, though. More updates on my crazy schedule coming soon!

I'm Back!

Well, I do know that I haven't been on this blog since... maybe 3 years? Now I have decided that I'd like to start it back up. Edit the blog a bit more, and now that I have grown older and matured, I'd like to make this a bit more serious. I do enjoy traveling, and I have been to many places over the past years I haven't been blogging, so here I go again, and I hope that you enjoy!
